If you pay through PayPal, you are not protected by the opposition scheme. Read more about the terms on PayPal’s website.

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have 14 days right of withdrawal when shopping with us.

The right of withdrawal expires 14 days after the day you receive your item. If you have ordered more items in the same order that are delivered at different times, the deadline starts the day you receive your last item.

If your order consists of more batches or parts, the right of withdrawal expires 14 days after the day you receive your last batch or part.

The deadline implies that you have 14 days from reception to let us know that you wish to undo your purchase. You can send us an email at shop@gustav-denmark.com or use the standard cancellation form which you will find at the bottom of these Terms of Trade.

You can not undo your purchase by refusing to receive your item without letting us know at the same time.


Undoing part of the purchase

If you have purchased more items from us, you have the possibility to return one or more items to us even if they have been purchased in one order.


Return label
If a return label is attached and this is used in the event of cancellation of the purchase, the above rate described under "Delivery" will be set off against refund of the purchase amount.

When you have given us notice that you wish to undo your purchase, you have 14 days to ship the item back to us.

You must pay for the package to be returned and you are liable if damaged is caused to the package during shipment.

The item cannot be returned by normal mail. The expense of returning the item(s) is expected to be no more than 100 DKK.


No right of withdrawal

These deals cannot be undone: Delivery of items made from your specifications or have been given a clear personal touch.

Condition of the item upon return

If the item has lost value due to you using it in a way other than necessary to determine the nature and characteristics of the item and its functionality, you can only get part of your purchase amount back. This amount depends on the commercial value of the item and in certain cases it may mean, that you only receive shipment costs back.

We recommend that you send the item back in its original packaging. If the original packaging is not available, it can possibly cause a depreciation of the item.


Refund of the purchase amount

If you wish to undo your purchase, you will get a refund. If the item is impaired, we subtract the amount that you are liable for.

We refund all payments received from you no later than 14 days after we have received your message about wishing to undo the purchase.

We will refund the money by the same method of payment that you used upon your purchase unless we make another deal with you.

We have the right to withhold the refund of purchase amount until we have received the item unless you provide us with documents proving that you have returned the item.

Right of complaint

When you shop with us as a consumer the rules of the Purchase Act apply to purchases of goods.

This means that you have a 24 month right of complaint.

If your right of complaint is justified, it means that you can either get the item repaired, exchanged, your money back or a reduction in price depending on the specific situation.

You must submit your complaint within “reasonable time” from when you discover the error. If you give your complaint within two months from finding the error, the complaint will be within reasonable time.


If your complaint is justified, we refund your (reasonable) amount of shipment. The item must always be returned in sound packaging. Remember to get a receipt for shipment so we can return your shipment costs.

When you return your item, please submit a detailed description of the issue.

Personal data policy

We need the following information when you shop with us:

Name, address, phone number and email address.


We register and pass on the personal data necessary for us to be able to ship the item to you.

The personal data is registered at Gustav A/S and is being kept for five years after which the data is erased.

In addition, we collaborate with several other companies who store and process data.

These companies entirely process the data on our behalf and are not allowed to use them for own purposes.

We only collaborate with data processors in the EU or countries that can provide your data with sufficient protection.

You have the right to be informed of what information we process about you

If you think that your information is inaccurate you have a right to get them corrected. In some instances, we have a duty to delete your information if you ask us to. It might be because your data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose we need. You can also contact us if you think that your information is being used in violation of the law. Right of appeal

If you as a consumer wish to complain about your purchase you must contact Gustav A/S at shop@gustav-denmark.com. If we fail to come to a solution you can send your complaint to:
